Would a website called “I hate Dell” be in violation of copyright laws?
The websites primary use would be to express the opinions of visitors and the owner throught their submissions (forum or otherwise).
BTW: I have nothing against dell, I am just using them as an example.

For a school project I have to put together a 60 sec commercial for a local business that may be played on local TV. (I will not be paid) I want to use the song “Do You Believe in Magic” sung by Ally & A.J. or The Lovin’ Spoonfuls. How do I get permission to use their music in my commercial?

I think the music companies and / or the media are trying to demonize their own customers.
In legal terms, what has murder and robbery on the high seas (ie Piracy) got to do with copyright infringement?
I think a high court judge would agree that someone found guilty of downloading copyrighted material from the internet would get in trouble for copyright infrindgement… but not theft.
Watch out the little © will report you to record compnies for being a pirate ! Eye Eye me harties…

I wrote a book about Google and I want to title it “Google Tips”. Since its a book thats actually about Google, I wonder if it is violating copyright or trademark laws. Anybody have any website links that discuss copyright/tm infringement pertaining to this type of situation?
