Does Trademark On The Name Of An American Comic Book Affect An Irish Baking Company?

I’d really like to know, if I named my company after an old comic (ie. ‘Boop’s’!) would i be vulnerable to court cases? is there anywhere on the net i can get a basic guide to trademark law in ireland and internationally?
any help would be great, thanks in advance:)

nope in intellectual property it is the matter of trademarking your ideas. then if you incorporate your trade name in that comic book it is fine as long as your local trade and industry (DTI) will grant that as your business name or tradename then it is good afterwards have it registered to your local intellectual property office (IPO) your trademark. just go there and ask for ssistance in applying such.
    hope this will help.
