hello frnds, im working in a local tv channel in Goa and making antakshari program of half an hour, which will be shown once in a week.
There is an Audio Visual round in that Antakshari. So i want to show clips of certain Movie and want to ask the participants to identify the movie and the song ….would it go against copy right act ?

Yes it will be illegal. Infact several companies even charge channels if in a talent show the contestants sing their songs ! Believe me, in the current climate, its best not to make these slip ups. Speak to a lawyer for more specifc ways out of and around this problem.

if the channel is reputed 1 then you have no problem.in india you should be worried about piracy issues.go on.
