Looping Copyright Music And Hosting: Is This Legal?

I’m running a website. However, am confused as to whether or not I’m allowed to loop a few intro clips to some music that is under copyright. What I want to do is get some 5-10 second continual loops of some main riffs and host them for download.

If you are using copyrighted music without authorization, then you are likely committing copyright infringement. There is no magic number of seconds of music that you can sample under the doctrine of fair use.
To be safe, I suggest you get permission from the copyright owner first.
