Copyright automatically attaches when you create a work (e.g., a song, a book, artwork, etc.). You can register your copyright with the Copyright Office if you want additional benefits. Marking your work with the copyright symbol is not necessary to obtain a copyright.
One way to make money is by selling your work. For example, if you write a book, then you can sell your book on Amazon.
Another way to make money is by licensing your work. Let’s say you wrote a book like Harry Potter, and a movie studio wanted the rights to your book to produce a movie. You can license your work to the studio for profit.
There are literally hundreds (if not more) ways you can profit from your creative work. Just use your imagination. Good luck.
