People that write for a living have to eat, too.
You wouldn’t like it if you spent months creating something, only to have someone copy it without permission.
And very few people get jailked for an innocent duplication.

Dude you need to calm down your going to be okay unless your downloading like torrents or copying someones book from page to page.
But unless your doing that you don’t have to be scared the Internet in one shape or form has been around longer than you’ve been alive okay.

And what are you doing on the internet that might, possibly infringe on someone’s copyright? I’ve been on the internet for a while and I’ve applied for numerous copyrights and I’ve never given it a thought. Only someone who is in the realm of infringing needs to worry. Stop doing whatever it is that might get you into trouble. I bet you you had created something that you had copyrighted and were making money from, you’d have another opinion.
